Fall family photos in the neighborhood

I have been wanting to go to a park or somewhere "pretty" to take some pics of the kids, but it can be tough to get all 3 kids dressed and out the door after their naps, but before hunger meltdowns begin.  So, it's just not happening these days.  But, we have several "common areas" in the neighborhood, with picnic benches and gazebos...I figured we would give it a try.  It was a nice alternative to the backyard, where just about all you see is the fence :)  As you can tell, the boys are big on clapping right now.

Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to a small "pumpkin patch" a few days before Halloween this year.  Emma had a lot of fun riding a train, going on a hayride, getting her face painted, and picking out a pumpkin.

(can we pretend that she is not completely mismatched??  It was a mad dash to get out the house that morning, and there were no clean jeans to be found...)
The cute pumpkin shirts were made by my friend, Robyn.  I love them!!

Ballerina

The boys were sick with ear infections and bronchiolitis on Halloween.  So we stayed close to home this year...but I had to let my girl dress up!  She loves tutus, ballerinas, princesses, and anything pink.  I made the tutu the night before (no sew- so easy!).
Found these ballet shoes at Target- they are slippers!
I see this face all the time now...so funny :)
I think she had a great time!
